Who remembers the “olden days” when telephones gave you a “busy signal,” or if you left the house or went on vacation, no one could even reach you by phone, and while out to dinner or at a party you actually interacted with…GULP…PEOPLE! Believe it or not, many business folks used to have dozens, if not a hundred or more, telephone numbers memorized and available right off the top of their head. Now, most of us are doing good to remember our own number! Sometimes, it seems as our technology becomes “smarter,” we lose more and more of our “real, live people” skills.
