You may have heard a while ago, I had the opportunity to act in a film project. People were constantly asking, “Dani, what movie?” or “Where can I see it?”

I’ve been really excited to share this project with you! So now, I finally get to talk about it, share the interviews and just how crazy and honoring it has been to be a part of this movement. I want to spend just a minute sharing my experience on the message of this movie and what it felt like portraying this character. It’s called “Let the Lion Roar” and it’s a timely, powerful film. And I’ve been praying for this exact message to get out to the general public for the past 20 years!

In the movie, I play a Christian whom I identified with greatly, because it represents me and represents so many other people. People who are just waiting to come out of their shell and be who they are supposed to be. I’m not a quiet person. In fact I am quite loud, but when I was in this role they kept telling me, “Dani, we really want you to belt out this line.” The time for holding back who we are in the body of Christ is done for. But the main focus of the film goes beyond that, it’s all about “the church.”

Because let’s be honest, everyone is dissatisfied with where the church is now. Everyone knows a change of course is needed. And when you go back historically, you can see how the church got on this path and where it’s headed. You and I know there is a huge disconnect today between people and the church!

Listen, if you want to change your destination, you have to change your course! If you don’t know who you are or where you came from, you end up settling for someone else’s identity, their goals or their lifestyle.

If you look at the bigger picture, a man without a vision will perish! If you don’t have a vision or a clue who you are and who you want to be, you’re doomed to fall for any vision someone else tries to sell you. You will set out on a course that will end in a destination you never expected, or maybe even wanted.
