Starve Your Fear To See Your Dreams Flourish
Last week on my Facebook page I asked you a question: “What’s holding you back from success?” The top answer was fear!
Hello! I was thinking today about how there is such a huge need in the world today for good, solid families. Our society needs parents who will groom their children for success, because those children are the future of our world. And I believe together, we can raise up a powerful and honorable generation of new leaders.
There’s something I hear from parents all the time and it breaks my heart. See, I have clients all over the world who are successful entrepreneurs and employees who work in all kinds of different professions, have received promotions and raises and are succeeding wildly. But I also have clients who are stay-at-home parents, or even parents who work part-time. Something I hear all the time is, “I’m just a mom,” or “I’m just a homemaker.”
So many parents see parenting as less than other professions. But there’s something they don’t understand. Being a parent is entrepreneurial.
Here’s what I mean by that: Everything I do in business, I do at home. Everything from grooming my kids and teaching them people skills, spiritual laws, financial laws, conflict resolution, and teamwork – that’s all stuff I learned in business. I did not learn how to be a good mother from my mom. In fact, she was the example of what I did not want to be as a mother.
I’ve been in business for more than 2 decades, and I have started a number of successful companies. My husband, Hans, and I currently own 5 companies. I have learned lots of very effective techniques and strategies leading directly to the success of these companies. The techniques I have taught my staff and sales force are the exact same techniques I have taught my children. Everything I learned in business – from sales to working with people to building a team – is what I use in my home to groom my kids for success.
So if you are a parent, you’ve got to change your idea of how you see your position. You can limit yourself by saying, “I’m just a stay-at-home parent,” or “I’m just a homemaker.” But you actually have the most important job in the world!
Part of the reason the world is so messed up today is because mothers are not mothers and fathers are not fathers. And it’s because they don’t realize what is in front of them. They don’t realize their position of influence.
Why am I telling you this today? Because it’s time to come together and groom our children for success! It’s time to give them a firm foundation upon which they can build a successful life, whether they choose to become an entrepreneur, an athlete, an employee, the CEO of a company or a parent.
So all of this business training I’m throwing out at you every week in The Daily Fix and on our nationally-syndicated TV and radio shows… Don’t just tune it out because it’s aimed at entrepreneurs or employees. No! Grab it and use it in your home. Share it with your children! You will be shocked by how receptive they are to this information.

When you were a kid, you fell down and skinned your knee…you fell countless times. But every time, you got back up and kept going! Sadly, most adults stop “running” at some point. But today you get a second chance!
