Are You Raising Brats or Successes?
Imagine a world where kids did not throw tantrums just because they couldn’t get something they wanted. What if they were very respectful, all from a very young age?
Today’s message is a little different than what we normally do. You see, the world is full of hostility, negativity, anger, rage, confusion, the list goes on and on. And you can find evidence of this if you just ask the people in your life – the people you live with, work with and are surrounded by every day – what’s lacking. There’s a good chance they’ll say daily encouragement! How sad.
Just think about it for a minute. How do you feel when someone encourages you? How does that encouragement impact your entire day? How does it change your thoughts? How does it influence your decisions? And how do you feel when you don’t receive encouragement… especially when you really need it? Pretty crummy, right?
That’s why I want to use this message in a different way today…
My friend, I believe in you. I am proud of you! You are doing something not many people actually step up and do.
The reality is, a lot of people want their lives to change. They want their bank accounts to grow, their businesses to expand, their marriages to become passionate again and their families to be harmonious and loving. They want all of these things, but they’re not willing to do what it takes to actually see these changes happen.
But YOU, on the other hand… well, I LOVE working with people like you. You are focused and driven, with a true desire to succeed. You are a person of action. And guess what? Results will follow action!
One of the greatest things about success is, it’s not about making tons of big, important, life-altering changes! It’s about making small decisions and small changes, and being consistent and diligent in following through with them. It’s about putting one foot in front of the other, day after day after day.
So, whether you’ve been a client of Destiny Global/DaniJohnson.com for a decade (or more!) or just a couple of days, let this be the encouragement and reminder you need to keep moving forward. There is no need to feel overwhelmed, or to feel like you have to rush success. Even if you’re not where you want to be, I’m here today to tell you that’s okay!
The simple fact you’re reading The Daily Fix says something powerful about you, my friend. It tells me you’re serious about your success. It says you’re willing to identify the things in your life that need to change, and then step up to make the changes.
I don’t know where you are in your life right now… maybe you’re totally satisfied, with everything going your way. Maybe you’re in what feels like a deep, dark pit, and not sure if you’ll ever see the light of day again. Maybe you’re in one of those strange seasons, where nothing’s really wrong, but nothing seems quite right, either.
No matter what season of life you’re in, just know I believe in you and am for you and for your success. I know you’re going to make it! You will reach your goals and accomplish the things you set your mind and your heart to.
I am so blessed to know you, pray for you and cheer you on. Whenever you start feeling overwhelmed, insecure, unsure, confused or doubtful, come back and read this, and know every word of it is true!
Encouragement will change the way you think, the decisions you make and the action you take. So, there are two things I want you to do right now:
FIRST, go ahead and share this message with five people in your life who need some encouragement today. It could be your family, friends, coworkers or even someone from your community. It’s very simple. Just say something like this: “Hey ________, I read this today and it made me think of you. I think you’re awesome, I believe in you, and I wanted to make sure you knew that! This message is for YOU!” (Come on, just think about how that would make you feel!)
SECOND, encourage one person today. Think of someone you really want to encourage. It doesn’t have to be anything long or deep. Just be sincere. Tell this person what you appreciate about them. Tell them how important they are. Remind them of all the things they’re doing right. You’ll be amazed by how encouraged you feel when you encourage others! (And you don’t have to stop at one! Encourage 2 or 5 or 10 people today!)
Then, join me today for The Dani Johnson Show, when we discuss more strategic tips to keep you moving forward! You can tune in on your TV and radio or you can always stream today’s show right here on our website.
In great faith,

Let’s talk about your heart. When you’ve been hurt, especially by other people, it’s easy to put up a wall inside and try to guard your heart from experiencing that pain ever again.
Often people make the mistake of being blind to the effects their actions have on others. But every decision you make has a “domino effect.”
