Business Tips So Easy A 12-Year-Old Gets it
Earlier this month, Fox News picked up a story about 12-year-old Katie Francis shattering the 30-year record for selling the most Girl Scout cookies. How did she do it?
Are you one of the many, MANY Americans struggling to make ends meet? Maybe you’re behind on some bills or payments and those bills just keep changing color every month? You’re dodging debt collectors, afraid to answer the phone and even refusing to pick up the mail?
You’re not alone! The implications are disturbing, but the reality is U.S. citizens – and many others worldwide – live with that same mentality. If you want to start a business, go to school, live “The American Dream” – you just need to rack up the debt to do it.
It is so shocking to me that the majority of Americans look at debt as “just a part of life.” Not so long ago, being in debt was a shameful thing! Men would do whatever it took to stay out of debt.
Debt should not be the norm! Did you know, in our country every single president since Herbert Hoover has added to the national debt? Our country’s debt ceiling has been raised 74 times since 1962.
Are you guilty of doing this with your own finances? Just open another line of credit to cover past debt? Defer your payments as long as possible and allow the interest charges to climb higher and higher?
It’s time to put a stop to your financial hemorrhaging. This isn’t something that happens overnight, but you can choose to stop accepting your debt as a normal way of life. Debt only brings you stress. It is the reason you probably work more than you should, while still struggling to make ends meet.
You don’t have to take it. Imagine for a second you don’t owe anybody, anything. Every paycheck you make would be money that is 100% yours. You could travel with it, save it, invest it, whatever you want!
If you can’t imagine it, take a minute to read the stories on our Facebook page or website to see people who were in debt (like millions of dollar in debt). The proof of that freedom is real and it is starting to happen all over our country. More and more people are saying “enough is enough” and choosing to stop buying into this debtor’s lie.
Make no mistake, if you believe debt is “just a part of life,” you believe the lie. If you believe you have to increase your current income to get out of debt or even win the lottery, that is also a lie.
It really isn’t about how much money you are bringing in, it’s about how you SPEND your money. The choice is yours: living in the slavery of debt or choosing freedom from that bondage. Don’t use everybody else, the norm, your income, the “American Dream” or the government, as an excuse for your financial decision.
Share your comments with me below or on Facebook and Twitter, tell me what debt is holding you prisoner! Let’s get ready to end this week strong, together on The Dani Johnson Show bright and early at 7 am, or on demand on your own time! You can tune in to the show on either your TV or radio and please remember you can always stream today’s show right here on our website.

I bet you’ve heard the term, “practice makes perfect.” And indeed, repetition is the mother of skill; you and I both know you don’t become a master of something overnight!
You don’t have to be perfect in order to do great things. God is not limited by your dysfunction. He is attracted to your faith and pursuit of Him.
