3 Tips To Get Over The Fear Of Failure
Do you have a dream inside of you? There are some people that are called to teach. Some are called to paint or speak. Others are called to write or […]
Today’s message is short and simple… but extremely important.
You see, it’s easy to get caught up in our daily lives and forget to be grateful. Our society so busily runs back and forth from one thing to another, taking the kids to their various activities, keeping up the social calendar and working hard on the job. We get so wrapped up in the day-to-day busy-ness, and don’t slow down enough to take the time to reflect on our blessings.
Think about it! When was the last time you sat down and really thought about what you’re thankful for? When was the last time your family went around the dinner table and said three things each person is grateful for? And, Thanksgiving doesn’t count!
I know you experience times when things are just plain hard, and you don’t necessarily feel grateful. Everyone experiences tough times – that’s just part of life! But that’s why it’s essential to make gratitude part of your daily life!
Honestly, sometimes you have to FIND things to be grateful for! The air you breathe, the clean water you get to drink, the food in your kitchen, the warm home protecting you, the friends and family who surround you, the opportunities you have in front of you, your business or career, the fact you’re able to learn new skills and strategies to advance you in every area of life. There are just SO many things to be grateful for!
Gratitude is good for you! In fact, studies have shown when you deliberately cultivate gratitude, it increases your overall happiness, energy level, optimism and empathy. Bottom line – it makes you FEEL good! And come on, everyone wants to feel good!
There’s an exercise I have encouraged my clients, around the world, to do for years… and you’d be shocked by some of the resulting stories, just from following these simple instructions. I’m giving you this homework assignment for the week, so be sure to complete it! (I WILL be checking!)
I want you to leave me a comment below with at least FIVE things you are grateful for! It will only take two minutes, but it will have a tremendous impact on your entire life!
I encourage my clients to do this every single day, in what we call a gratitude journal. Each morning when you wake up, simply write five things you are grateful for that day. Before you go to sleep that night, do the same thing!
I know you’re probably thinking, “Okay Dani, what’s the big deal?”
The big deal? What you focus on is what you get more of! Which means, you can focus on the hard times, the things that aren’t going your way and the busy-ness of your life… OR you can focus on the abundant blessings in your life! It really is THAT simple! When you choose to focus on the blessings, you will begin to see many more blessings. It’s so amazing how God works!
So, don’t forget to do your homework and leave your list in the comments! I can’t wait to see what you have to say!

If you struggle to make progress, check the path you’re following…because after achieving success once, it’s easy to think you can map your way alone. But, if you commit your actions to God, HE will guide your steps!
Sometimes you are going steady, achieving success, but at the end of the day, it just doesn’t feel right. You should be happy and from the outside your life looks perfect, but something is off. What is it?
