Christians around the world celebrate Christmas – telling the story of when Jesus was born and remembering how his birth changed everything. But evidence proves that Jesus was not born in December, and most of the traditions around Christmas have nothing to do with the Bible at all.
The Bible DOES talk about a celebration that has been kept by the Jewish people – including Jesus himself – for over 2,000 years. We welcome back special guest Rabbi Natan once again for today’s episode as we explore the wonders of Hanukkah.
In This Episode You Will Learn:
-
- The history of Hanukkah and what it symbolized for the Jewish people of the time and what it still symbolizes for us today.
- From a Messianic Jew who has celebrated Hanukkah his entire life, and why the holiday is so meaningful to him.
- What celebrating the week of miracles could look like in your home and how it can become part of your traditions at this time of year.
