Best-selling author and world renowned public speaker Dani Johnson alongside longtime charity partner King’s Ransom Foundation are at it again. Less than a month ago they rallied support to raise over $200k for Belizean orphans. This month they have started a new campaign with the charity Do Much Good to raise money for international relief agency Food For The Poor. Their focus is to provide clean water for the children of Haiti.
Dani Johnson has been calling for Haitian aid since the 2010 devastating earthquake and continues to lend support. Haiti is one of the poorest nations in the western hemisphere and the main causes of death in the country are due to typhoid, cholera, and diarrhea all caused by waterborne illness.
King’s Ransom Foundation has offered a $25,000 match to help bring the children of Haiti safe drinking water. Dollar for dollar, every contribution will be matched up to $25k. The goal is to purchase water purification systems for three of the most remote towns in Haiti. The new systems would pump over 10,000 gallons of clean water per day.
Individuals interested in supporting the cause can donate at http://grouprev.com/WaterForHaiti. You can also visit King’s Ransom Foundation for more information and more places to give. Donors can rest assured that 100% of donations go to the cause.
Together we can easily save the life of a child that is dying from sewage tainted drinking water.
