Don’t Let An Old Mindset Keep You From New Victories!
Old mindsets will trip you up, hold you back and keep you in a rut. It’s time to say “goodbye” to old mindsets and “hello” to new victories!
If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you do? I know it seems like a big, scary question. It may be something you haven’t really thought about before.
Maybe you haven’t had the courage to dream. Maybe when you were younger you had dreams, but throughout life with whatever happened along the way, maybe those dreams got lost. Maybe you buried them. Maybe it was easier to just “live” your life and get by, rather than dream and believe something great, something spectacular, something mind-blowing could happen to you.
But today, I really want to ask you that question. I really want you to think about it. If you knew you could not fail… if there were no chance of missing the mark… if there were no chance of failure, what would you do?
If you could start a business and you knew you would become a raging success… would you? If you could travel the world, where would you go? (I know, right now you’re thinking, “Yeah, right Dani, I’ll never have the money to do that kind of stuff!” But, don’t even think about the money right now. If you did have the money…)
Would you go to Iceland or Bora Bora or on a Mediterranean cruise? Would you set your feet on all 7 continents? Would you see the world’s most exotic places with your family? Would you build homes for the extreme poor in the most remote villages of the world? Would you make millions of dollars and give millions away?
Where would you go? What would you do? Who would you go with? Make a list! Write down 5 things. Stop reading and write 5 things… RIGHT NOW!
Something inside of you leaps for joy and excitement when you start thinking about this. You have that thing inside of you saying, “Oh, what if I COULD do that? What if I COULD go there? What if I WERE able to do that? What if I DID have the money? What if it WOULD work?”
So, if you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you do? This question is so important, because 98% of the world just goes through life, taking life as it comes. They have no dreams, no vision, no hope. They don’t wake up in the morning with a purpose. They wake up, eat the same breakfast they’ve eaten for 30 years, go to work, go home, eat dinner while watching TV and then go to bed, only to get up and do exactly the same thing the next day… and the next… and the next.
But, that’s not how your life was meant to be! Those aren’t the things you dreamed of doing when you were young. But somehow, somewhere along the line, you lost the dreams and goals and visions you had. And my friend, it’s time to get your dreams back!
Today, dare to dream. Dare to say, “What if?” It may be outside of your comfort zone to even think about the possibility of achieving something great and spectacular. GOOD!!! That’s a great place to start! If you haven’t made your list yet, do it now! Don’t wait! And, be sure to tell me what’s on YOUR list in the comments below.
And while you’re at it, I want you to think of 5 people you know who need to read this message today. There are people we all know who are jam-packed with potential, but they’ve settled for mediocrity. They’ve settled for less, but their destiny is calling out right now, and YOU could be the one to help inspire that in them. You could be the one to set them on a path to do the things they were placed on this earth to do, by simply sharing this post!
My friend, your destiny is calling out to you right now. And I’m saying GO FOR IT!!! If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you do? Now, go do it! And, while you’re out there “doing it,” be sure to tune in to The Dani Johnson Show for more financial wisdom, tips and strategies to improve your life. Often people make the mistake of being blind to the effects their actions have on others. But every decision you make has a “domino effect.”
Maybe turning that attitude of annoyance into an attitude of gratitude could be the first step toward finding career satisfaction and success.
