One of the VERY best things our team gets to do is to hear the stories from people whose lives have been radically changed, after applying the strategies we teach. For instance, I had the amazing opportunity to interview a man named Paul Wessling on our TV/radio show as he shared his story. And I was SO blown away!

Paul’s story excited me so much, and I just have to share it with you. This story will inspire you, spur you forward on your journey and remind you that you are capable of succeeding. It’s going to give you hope for your own life, your own family, your own business or career. As you read this story today, I want you to say to yourself, “If he can do it, so can I!”

When Paul first came to DaniJohnson.com 4 years ago, he was trudging through life bored, shackled by debt, with an insecure financial future. His company was undergoing some major changes, and actually laying off employees who had been with the company for over 25 years! Paul knew he would be next. He knew it was only a matter of time.

But Paul came to our training seminar First Steps To Success and got “Job Domination”… which actually set him on a very different path than he had been heading down.

During the interview, I asked Paul how he managed to keep his job, while other people were getting cut. He said, “Dani, I used ‘Job Domination.’ The strategies you taught in that training completely changed the way I looked at work… the way I look at life, really. I started using those tools and it was amazing how fast things turned around!”

So, of course, I had to know what strategies he used from this 12-hour training. I had him share just one tip he used and his results from using it.

He said, “The one thing that made the biggest difference was changing the way I thought about my position. If I were the owner of the company, how would I want this job to be done? What would I want this person to do? Once I started looking at it from that perspective and not from my own needs and wants, then everything changed.

“It was no longer me trying to be served. I wanted to build the company and see it succeed. I wasn’t looking around, wondering why I wasn’t getting noticed or why I wasn’t getting a raise. I started looking for ways to help the company move forward.

“I’m a software developer, so typically I sit in front of my computer all the time. But I lifted my head and started looking for ways I could actually get the company’s name out there and bring in new business.

“That’s something I never would have done in the past, because what good would it do ME to step outside of my job description?

“But within a couple of months, I got a 20% raise! I got additional raises over the following year and I actually doubled my income that way. I was on the same path as those employees who got laid off after 25 years, until I got ‘Job Domination’.”

Paul Wessling’s story doesn’t end there! He has also met and married the woman of his dreams. His whole family (parents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews) has paid off over a million dollars of debt and he, personally, paid off $150K.

When asked what advice he would give to someone who is struggling, as he struggled a few years ago, he said, “Don’t accept the idea things will never change. That is not what you were designed for! You were designed to progress and be happy and lead a family or a business, or whatever your calling is! You CAN get there! But you have to be willing to push aside all the things in your way of getting there. Just take the first step!”

I know you may be thinking right now, “Dani, I don’t even know this Paul guy! This has nothing to do with me and my life!”

Like I said, I’m sharing this with you today because Paul’s story should encourage and inspire you! Inspiration is so powerful. If Paul can annihilate all of his debt… if he can triple his income within 4 years… if he can restore relationships in his life and create beautiful new relationships… if he can eliminate his stress and truly live his destiny… SO CAN YOU!!!
