Business Tips So Easy A 12-Year-Old Gets it
Earlier this month, Fox News picked up a story about 12-year-old Katie Francis shattering the 30-year record for selling the most Girl Scout cookies. How did she do it?
Today, I want to share what could be the biggest financial breakthrough tip I have ever offered… forming a financial vision! It’s very possible you don’t even have one, yet.
When I first started making money, I didn’t have one, either. So naturally, I just threw my money everywhere. I bought an outrageously-expensive wardrobe, jewelry, a big house… and a bunch of furniture to decorate that big house.
It took Hans and me 10 years to stop spending like fools – in an unending, insane cycle of making money and then losing it all. Our financial background is spotted with embezzlement, debt, wasteful spending and junk that never amounted to anything. Man… 10 years is a long time to make the same financial mistakes over and over and over, again. And, we lost a LOT of money. Do you want to go through the same trial-and-error stages we struggled through?
First, let me “bust” a major myth… believe it or not, all millionaires are NOT financially-independent! But I can also share a huge secret that virtually all millionaires and financially-independent people have in common: They have a purpose for their income and know exactly where every dime of their money goes. And the rest of the population? Clueless!
Because, if you don’t have a plan for your money, it WILL get sucked away – in every direction. My best financial advice? Find out what 98% of the population does and then do the opposite! Because these people spend everything they make – and sometimes way MORE than they make – they end up dead-broke. Find out what they buy and then, DON’T buy it! The gang going to Arby’s for lunch? Don’t go!
When you create a financial vision, you reap an added benefit… relieving the stress and pressure in your life. I encourage you to form the vision of success YOU want to achieve, so you don’t waste time and energy constantly chasing some vague goal you never even wanted! I’d love to know YOUR vision! Share it, in the comments below, then let’s inspire a new financial vision together.

Budgeting is not a prison…the purpose of a budget is to help you manage your money according to YOUR priorities, so you can have the future YOU want!
Generation Y has been referred to as a “pampered, over-praised, and relentlessly self-confident generation,” offered independence, control and endless options our entire lives. And as a Gen Y-er, I gotta agree!
