I Want to Be Part of the Solution – Not the Problem
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
We’re living in a really interesting time right now, aren’t we? I’ve heard stories of people acting out in horrible ways, thinking only of themselves, or, worse, taking advantage of some of our most vulnerable citizens who are truly frightened for their lives and the lives of their family and friends. On the other hand, I’ve heard some awesome stories of communities working together to ensure that everyone is safe, informed, and has enough food and other necessities to get through the next couple of weeks, or longer, if necessary. I want to be part of that second group. Who’s with me?
As a member of team DJC, I am so honored to be part of this community. We strive to be a port in any storm, and when things get rough, we provide solutions and support. And times are really challenging for a lot of us, right now. One question in particular that seems to come up the most often is, “I know I need to save money. What can I do that will make a difference right away?” Dani put together an awesome list of 21 tips to start saving and keeping more of your money. And it includes links to some fantastic resources. It’s a great list – especially in times like we’re all facing now: Super Simple Savings Tips
I don’t know if you’ve had the opportunity to check out our LifeMap To Success yet. It’s an AMAZING program. I am continually awed by the feedback we’re receiving. For less than a daily cup of coffee, the LifeMap To Success teaches you how to live a life where you’re not just surviving life’s storms, but thriving in any environment. With training direct from Dani, the LifeMap To Success provides the training you need to flourish in any economy, create meaningful relationships, find inspiration to grow, inspire peace in others, and not just make more money but keep more than enough money to do what you love – all while making a positive difference in the world.
I find one verse from what Dani calls, “the best success book ever written” especially comforting during uncertain times like now, and I wanted to share it with you, too, in the hopes that you’ll find it as reassuring as I have. It’s from the fourth chapter of Philipians, verse 6: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Take care of yourself – and each other. Keep plugging in. Keep pressing play. And remember, together, we’re always better.
